Alpha Pokemon are a new species introduced in thePokemon legend: Arceus. The first thing players will notice about Alpha Pokemon is that they are much larger, have red glowing eyes, and have access to moves that regular Pokemon may not have access to without the help of a teacher.
Alpha Pokemon are very aggressive, so even the most docile Bidoof will attack on sight if they are Alpha. Capturing Alphas is not necessary to complete the main story, but they can be helpful in completing side quests or if players want strong Pokemon on their team.
It is not known if the Alpha Pokemon will appear outsidePokemon legend: Arceus, but some fans hope it will be. Before calming the Noble Pokemon around Hisui, a very specific number of Alpha Pokemon will appear in the wild. If players intend to catch any of them, then it's best to start leveling up their Galaxy Team Star Rank.

Creating other Alpha Pokemon
.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=1500&dpr=1.5)
After a Noble Pokemon is smothered, Alpha Pokemon will start appearing more in that Noble Pokemon's region. This means that never-before-seen Alpha Pokemon like Alpha Wurmple will start spawning in the Obsidian Fieldlands, Alpha Yanma in the Crimson Mirelands, and so on.
Unlike the Alpha Pokemon that appeared before the Noble Pokemon was appeased, the spawn rates of these alphas are random, and they will disappear when the player leaves the area.
For example, if players want Alpha Eevee, they will need to do the following steps:
- Calm a noble Pokemon (in this case Cleavore).
- Return to the Obsidian Fieldlands.
- Check all the areas where Eevees usually appear.
- If the Alpha Eevee doesn't appear, go back to Jubilife Village and then go back to the Fieldlands.
- Repeat this process until Alpha appears.
The easiest way to catch an Alpha Pokemonis by getting a kickback. Using stealth sprays or smoke bombs makes it easier for them to sneak up. If players prefer to fight, try circling the Alpha Pokemon and throwing the Pokemon onto its back to make the first move in battle.
